You don’t need to have everything figured out before you contact me.

You can start with something as simple as:

• who it’s for

• the occasion

• a name, date, or place

• or even just “I have an idea but I’m not sure yet”

If you’ve seen a design you like, feel free to mention it. If not, that’s okay too. I’m happy to help you narrow things down and suggest what might work best.

Think of this as a conversation, not a commitment.

Once I hear from you, I’ll ask a few clarifying questions and make suggestions based on:

• where the piece will live (shelf, wall, table, etc.)

• the tone you’re going for (sentimental, subtle, a little snarky)

• the occasion and timing

I’ll help you land on wording, size, and style that feel right — without overwhelming you with options.

You won’t be handed a long form or expected to make design decisions on your own. I’ve done this many times, and I’ll guide you through it.

Once we’ve agreed on the details, I’ll get to work making your piece by hand in my home workspace.

For most custom orders, I’m happy to send a quick proof before I make it, so you can feel confident about how everything looks. Small wording tweaks are completely normal at this stage.

I use quality materials and finishes so your piece looks good and holds up in real homes — not just for a season, but for years.

When your piece is finished, it’s packaged thoughtfully and ready to gift when it arrives.

I’ll communicate clearly about timing and shipping, and if you have a specific deadline, I’ll always let you know upfront what’s doable.

My goal is for this to feel easy from start to finish — and for you to feel excited and confident when you give (or keep) your custom piece.
